Software updates enhance the functionality of the Traverse GPS watches through new features and improvements. If updates are available, you are notified through Moveslink on your computer. We encourage you to install updates as soon as they are available.
The release 2.0.5 brings route altitude graph to your Traverse watch and allows you to modify your compass display information.
ROUTE ALTITUDE GRAPH
You can now see the altitude graph of your pre-planned route on your watch during navigation. The ascent profile view shows you the following information:
1. Remaining ascent
2. Real-time altitude profile graph
3. Remaining descent
If you veer too far off the route track, the text Off route is shown below the graph, and you need to return to the track to get accurate ascent calculations.
CARDINAL COMPASS ACTIVATION
You can change the compass display information from the options menu under GENERAL » Formats » Compass unit, and select the primary value in the center of the compass display according to your need. Choose from degrees, Mils or cardinals.
