Release notes

Staged update starting on September 5th 2024.

This update brings new features, improvements and bug fixes.

New features:

Provide the compass heading while scuba diving
New view for freedive mode to list all dives, depth, dive time and surface times
The automatic start for scuba dive will always start with the latest scuba dive mode
New options to adjust the safety stop and how TTS is calculated during decompression dives
Average gas consumption value in dive summary to be calculated from real-time values during diving

Improvements and bug fixes:

Fixed bug for adjusting brightness during freedive
UI improvement to the Gas list
Fixed bug that caused an empty dive list in the exercise summary in Snorkeling mode after firmware update
Improved calculations for pool, open water and snorkelling distances
Fixed issue for showing wrong surface time in scuba history widget
Fixed issue for not showing HR belt icon if OHR is disabled in dive pre-dive screen
Fixed bug related to showing the gas switch recommendation while descending
Updated the surface pressure also when not in water sports to prevent dive modes to start automatically if surface pressure drops
Fixed bugs related to not being able to confirm alarms while freediving
Added low battery alarm for freedive, mermaiding and snorkeling
Changed the arch behaviour for decompression and safety stops
Increased the range for surface time duration to show days
Improved the dive alarm behaviour to better tackle situations with multiple simultaneous dive alarms
Removed additional time added to safety stop if fast ascent happened during diving
